Paneer Chappathi – பன்னீர் சப்பாத்தி
Ingredients
- Wheat flour – 250g
- Soft paneer – 125g
- Yogurt – 3 tbsp
- Green chillies – 2
- Gram masala powder – 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/6 tsp
- Coriander leaves – Few
- Mint leaves – Few
- Salt – Required
- Oil – Required
How to Prepare
Total Preparation time: 60-80 minutes
- Crumble paneer and chop green chillies finely, chop coriander leaves, chop mint leaves separately and keep aside
- Then take a mixing bowl, add Wheat flour, 1 tbsp oil, required salt, paneer, green chillies, yogurt, coriander leaves, mint leaves, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, yogurt and required amount of water to make chappathi dough
- Mix it well by your hand, make dough, close the dough with wet cloth and marinate for few minutes
- Take the dough, split them into palm hold sized small balls
- And take the chappathi board, roll this small balls into round shapes like chappathi
- Keep the dosa or chappathi tawa in high flame, apply little amount of oil and spread it well
- After oil gets heat up, lay around the round shaped chappathi dough and cook it for 3-4 minutes till it becomes golden
- After that turn to other side, sprinkle some oil and press the chappathi lightly to make it puff and cook for 2 minutes.
- Once the chappathi become golden color, move it to a plate
- Now the delicious Paneer Chappathi is ready to serve.
