Apple Kesari – ஆப்பிள் கேசரி
Ingredients
- Semolina – 125g
- Apple – 1
- Milk – 125ml
- Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cardamom – 6
- Kesari powder – 1 tsp
- Cashew nuts – Required
- Raisins – Required
- Sugar – Required
- Ghee – Required
How to Prepare
Total Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes
- Remove the skin of apple, chop them into tiny pieces and keep aside
- Take a pan, heats up with 2 tsp ghee, add cashew nuts and fry till nuts become golden
- After that add raisins and fry for 2 minutes till it swells up
- Then add rava and stir them well in low flame for 5 minutes
- Add chopped apple and mix it well for 3 minutes continuously
- Then add 400ml water in rava and stir continuously till it becomes smooth and non sticky
- After the water starts boil and stir continuously till water drains out and also make sure the no lumps are formed
- Once water is completely absorbed, the rava become big and smooth, that means the rava is cooked well
- After that add sugar and stir continuously to make them dissolve
- Stir continuously till sugar water evaporates completely
- After that add cardamom powder, kesari powder and mix it well
- Add 4 tsp ghee and stir it well then close the lid and allow them to cook in low flame for 3 minutes
- After that transfer the kesari into a bowl
- Now the healthy Apple kesari is ready for serve
